Headed by Zorro ( Darren Cunliffe) Customer Service Centre (CSC) Director and all the team in the CSC donned their Disney themed fancy dress in their effort to raise as much money as possible for the BBC Children in Need Appeal.

Various activities took place during the day but the highlight was ‘Male Leg Waxing’ not a pretty sight to say the least, two hairy guys losing their body hair for charity, but not quite the conventional way you may imagine, hot was strips were the order of the day, wow it looked painful and the volunteers confirmed it definitely was painful, but as all the money raised was going to Children in Need it was worth it.

The CSC forwarded updates throughout the day to all our regional offices and our strategic business partners, Pledges flooded in throughout the day and by 5pm we had raised well over a £1000. The fundraising continued into the evening when all the team descended on Leyland, home to the CSC, they visited many local pubs shaking their buckets for fun and at the final count raised £1720 for this year’s BBC Children in Need Appeal.

A fabulous fundraising day and thanks to all the suppliers, Wagstaff people and members of the public who helped us raise so much.
