We were appointed to develop the interior design of their regional HQ based upon the prestigious Durdham Downs area of Bristol. The ambition was to liberate staff potential, provide areas in which to focus, create, meet, discuss, refresh, eat and promote a healthier work environment. Specific work areas were established to encourage positive contribution and provide clear sense of orientation. Through an open and transparent consultation process we were able to identify the need for interconnected, nomadic and agile work settings.
These work settings are broadly identified as Urban areas in which people were able to focus and learn and Surburban areas in which people formally collaborate, and discuss ideas organically. Areas in which employees revitalise and do healthy things were also introduced. Nomadic and interchangeable furniture was specified and procured to support each setting.
