Whilst most elements had been pre-determined as part of the tender exercise, there were other requirements where Wagstaff and the key Stakeholders worked closely through a careful and considered product selection process. Following the Ritterman fit-out, vacated spaces were revisited with new and exciting furniture installed for the benefit of other faculties.Requirements included flexible rooms where a mix of practical experiments and standard teaching would be carried out. Existing lab tables were re-modelled, mobile tables installed and seating that reflected a practical, but stylish and modern thinking environment with iconic designs.
One of the key elements was the Networking Rooms. The existing facility was cramped and crowded with both Academics and students sharing equipment. Following consultation directly with the stakeholders and working alongside Cambridge Park, we were able to design,supply and install a complete bespoke solution which allows greater freedom for students and promotes better group working.
Across various areas, we provided more collaborative solutions such as Hexa and Hive media booths and contemporary Common Space furniture for Dance Studio students sharing part of the facility.
